About Akshay
I’ve been drumming for over 15 years, played 100+ gigs, and I’m still just as obsessed with the drums as when I first picked up the sticks! I teach because I love sharing my drumming passion. Whether you're a total beginner or already jamming in a band, my lessons are all about helping you have fun, play the music you love, and actually feel good behind the kit. I’m still a lifelong student of the drums and I'm currently training myself at Wright Music School, so I get what it’s like to learn and improve. Let's hit stuff and make noise together, properly!

I teach from my home or can travel locally depending on availability. Online lessons are also available if you prefer learning from your own space. I make sure each session is relaxed, fun, and focused on real progress.
We’ll cover everything from stick control, rudiments and coordination, to groove, fills, and live performance skills. If you're just starting out, I’ll help you build a solid foundation. If you’re more advanced, we’ll sharpen your technique, expand your vocabulary, and develop your personal style behind the kit.
My drum lessons are tailored to you. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, master techniques, improve your timing, or explore different styles like pop, rock, or metal, I’ll design each lesson around your goals and pace.

Perfect! great guy with some serious playing skills..
Helped me with exactly what i wanted & more than i could have imagined.. awesome time.. awesome skills. highly recommend him..Perfect! Really happy with my lesson. Never played an instrument, was a bit nervous but askhay make you feel comfortable and explain everything, every step.
You can feel that Akshay is passionate and like to share his love for drums!- Marine is a great student. She is easy to work with, has a positive attitude and open to learning new concepts.
