About May Ann
Hello! I’m May Ann, a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate major in Biological Science and currently a Grade 7 Science teacher in Dubai.
I love teaching because I enjoy helping students discover that Science is not just about memorizing facts—it is about understanding the world around us. I find it rewarding when students finally understand a challenging concept, become confident in answering questions, or get excited about learning something new.
As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn from them. I believe every student can learn Science when the lessons are explained in a way that connects with their interests and everyday experiences.

I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate major in Biological Science and a current Grade 7 Science teacher in Dubai. I use a student-centered and engaging approach that helps learners understand Science concepts clearly and apply them to real-life situations.
My lessons combine clear explanations, guided questioning, visual examples, interactive activities, practice exercises, and simple experiments when appropriate. I adjust my teaching strategies based on each learner’s level, learning needs, and areas for improvement. I encourage students to ask questions, explain their thinking, and build confidence in solving Science problems independently.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, with time for reviewing previous learning, introducing the new concept, guided practice, and a short learning check at the end.
My lessons are suitable for Grade 7 students and other lower secondary learners who need additional support in Science, Biology, and related topics. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop their scientific thinking, curiosity, and confidence.
