About Allen
Any person has the ability to learn when they trust the teacher. I have 10 years of experience as a classroom teacher. the focus of my lessons are to identify what the students issues are and to help correct their mistakes more so that trying to get them to a correct answer without understanding. My classes have steadily improved on state testing based on my technique to approach my students from their point of view.

I am a light-hearted teacher that will try to keep the environment fun and engaging. A typical lesson with me would follow the "I do, We do, You do" model. This will allow for any student to be able to follow along while asking questions during the lesson for better understanding. As a tutor I am going to be able to focus directly on mastery of a lesson/standard to help reduce learning gaps as well as challenging students that are wanting to get ahead.
