About Andrew

With a double degree from Harvard in mathematics and computer science, along with experience as a teaching fellow in Statistics and Machine Learning, I have a solid foundation in physics education. For three years, I specialized in tutoring high school students in physics, guiding them through AP Physics coursework and helping them excel in the subject. I am passionate about creating "aha!" moments and fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to build students' skills and confidence in physics, guiding them from uncertainty to mastery of complex concepts. My background in mathematics and teaching experience uniquely qualify me to help students succeed in their physics studies.

About the lesson

As a physics tutor, I focus on creating "aha!" moments by simplifying complex concepts and encouraging active participation. I believe in fostering a warm and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without fear of judgment. I tailor my teaching approach to meet each student's unique learning style, building their skills and confidence step by step. By providing practical examples and demonstrating the real-world relevance of physics concepts, I help students see the value and application of their studies beyond the classroom. My goal is to empower students to tackle challenging physics problems with confidence and to instill a passion for exploring the wonders of the physical world.
