About Joanne
I am an entrepreneur and have a passion for the subjects of Business and Economics . I teach to pass that passion onto the next generation. I build a strong rapport with my students and believe lessons have to be fun and innovative for students to learn. Learning and understanding therefore comes naturally to the students I teach. I have been teaching for 20 years both in the UK and UAE as I love to travel and learn about new cultures. I have set up and run Fashion Boutiques and Events and this allows me to bring real life examples to supplement the theory you learn from the text books. I have taught GCSE/IGCSE, Alevel, IB, BTEC, OCN and Cambridge Technicals. I look forward to meeting you and sharing my knowledge to help you achieve your potential .

I have a very unique approach to learning and teaching. I have developed my own Pedagogy which makes learning fun and individualises each lesson using students interest and passions to cement knowledge. My experience as an examiner gives me the knowledge of the tips and tricks students need to know to achieve high grades. My 20 years teaching in both the UK and the UAE has given me the opportunity to teach all the curriculums offered to students in both Business and Economics. I have therefore not only the knowledge of the curriculum but also the knowledge of how to overcome the common problems that students face when learning both of these subjects. My area of expertise is not only how to understand the question asked but to write an answer that will achieve the highest grade .
