About Adam
I am a high school math teacher who genuinely enjoys helping students discover that they are capable of understanding math. I have experience teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Foundations, and I have worked with students with a wide variety of learning styles and needs.
I am a very positive, patient, and encouraging person, and I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I enjoy getting to know my students and finding different ways to explain a concept until it makes sense to them. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident and independent in their math abilities.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and finding ways to stay active. I look forward to helping students reach their goals and hopefully helping them see math in a more positive way!

As an experienced high school math teacher, I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to make math feel less overwhelming and help students build both their understanding and confidence. I have taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Foundations, and I tailor each lesson to the individual student’s needs. Whether a student needs help understanding a difficult concept, preparing for a test, completing homework, or strengthening foundational skills, I provide patient, positive, and supportive instruction. I want students to leave each lesson feeling more confident and capable than when they started.
