About Megan
I am a historian who has won several collegiate awards for my studies. Most recently I won the Paul Sanford prize for outstanding studies in African American history. I have also tutored for the last 5 years and helped students in not only historical studies, but also with writing and literary analysis.

I usually work with secondary and collegiate level students. I find I try to get an understanding of what they know and build from there. Usually, by getting that basis it is also easy to figure out HOW they learn as well, which is crucial to truly help a student.
