About AJ
I’m an experienced educator who has spent more than a decade teaching and working with high school students. I’ve taught AP Human Geography for 13 years and understand both the challenges of the course and what students need to be successful on the AP exam. I try to make my students feel comfortable asking questions, working through mistakes, and building confidence along the way. I genuinely enjoy helping students succeed, and I bring the same patience and energy to tutoring that I’ve always brought to my classroom

AP Human Geography can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. I work with students wherever they are—whether they need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an upcoming test, or getting ready for the AP exam. We’ll work through concepts together, practice multiple-choice questions and FRQs, and focus on the areas where they need the most help. My goal is for students to leave each session feeling more confident and better prepared than when we started.
