About Joe
I am an experienced and credentialed Human Resources professional with extensive operations management and leadership experience.
I have led teams large and small, professional and technical, non - profit and for - profit, in industries ranging from healthcare to retail. I have consulted with professional services firms, academic institutions, finance companies, and human services providers.
I hold a Master's degree in Organization Management and two professional certifications in HR - the PHR and SHRM-CP.
I am active in my local community, currently serving on boards for government and civic institutions, including the Presidency of my local HR professionals group from 2019-2021.

Our work will begin with a review conversation, in which we will identify the principles and practices of Human Resources and leadership relevant to your needs. Common scenarios include:
- I am a professional who has recently been tasked with new responsibilities and in need of an overview of relevant concepts.
- I am a new leader and need some basic understanding of how to lead people.
- I am a business or human resources student in need of assistance with classwork or a project.
- I am considering a career change to Human Resources and need an honest assessment of my fit.
Typical lesson plans will include the creation of a specific problem statement. This may include some exercises to encourage self-reflection and a clear understanding of the situation. We will then identify resources to provide foundations for approaching a resolution. Next, we will create an action plan using lessons from the resources specifically targeted to individual identified needs. Finally, we will execute the plan, assess results, and adjust accordingly.
The ideal student is a graduate-level professional looking to integrate HR concepts into a paper, project, or professional development plan.
