About Roman

I am a passionate Japanese tutor with 4 years of experience teaching students online from different countries and backgrounds. I hold a degree in Philology and Translation, as well as a JLPT N2 certification, which allows me to teach Japanese with both linguistic accuracy and practical understanding.

I truly enjoy helping students discover the Japanese language in a clear, structured, and enjoyable way. Over time, I have developed my own teaching program, which I combine with well-known textbooks such as Genki, Minna no Nihongo, and Marugoto, depending on each student’s needs.

I am focused on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and improving step by step. My goal is not only to teach Japanese, but also to help students build real confidence in using it.

I work with beginners, intermediate learners, and JLPT students, and I always adapt my lessons to individual goals such as travel, study, work, or personal interest.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, interactive, and fully adapted to each student’s individual goals and level. I focus on helping students develop practical Japanese that they can actually use in real-life situations, not just learn from textbooks.

Each lesson is carefully planned, but also flexible depending on the student’s progress. We usually combine grammar, speaking practice, listening exercises, vocabulary building, and conversation practice to make learning balanced and effective.

I use well-known textbooks such as Genki, Minna no Nihongo, and Marugoto, depending on the student’s level and learning style. I also support these materials with my own personalised teaching program, which helps students progress faster and more confidently.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. During the class, I make sure students are actively involved, speaking as much as possible, and fully understanding each topic before moving forward.

My goal is to create a comfortable and motivating learning environment where students feel confident, supported, and able to improve step by step.
