# Hello everyone, I'm Lucy!

Hello! I’m a native Korean speaker currently based in Sydney, Australia.

If you’re looking to learn Korean from a native speaker, improve your conversation skills, or become more confident using Korean in everyday situations, I’d love to help!

I recently started teaching Korean and really enjoy helping students discover the Korean language and culture. I focus on creating **practical, personalised, and enjoyable lessons** that match each student’s level, goals, and interests.

I offer **1:1 Korean lessons for beginner and intermediate learners**, with lessons designed to help you build a strong foundation and gradually use Korean in real-life situations.

# What can you expect from my lessons?

**Part 1 – Build Your Foundation**

We’ll work on the essential building blocks of Korean, including:

* Hangul and pronunciation
* Vocabulary and grammar
* Reading and writing
* Sentence structure
* Practical Korean expressions

My goal is to help you understand not only *what* to say, but also *how* Korean works, so you can build a strong foundation and learn with confidence.

**Part 2 – Put Korean into Practice**

We’ll then put your Korean into practice through:

* Speaking and listening activities
* Everyday conversations
* Real-life situations
* Topics based on your interests
* Practical expressions you can use in everyday life

Every lesson is **personalised to your needs**, including your:

* Learning goals
* Current Korean level
* Interests
* Preferred learning style

Whether you’re learning Korean for **travel, university, work, TOPIK, K-pop, K-dramas, or simply because you enjoy Korean culture**, I’ll adjust the lessons to support your goals.

If you already have a favourite textbook or learning material, feel free to bring it to class. We can incorporate it into our lessons and use it as a starting point for additional speaking, grammar, and vocabulary practice.

# Learn Korean and Korean culture together

As a native Korean speaker who grew up and studied in Korea, I can also introduce you to the cultural side of the language. We can explore everything from Korean food and everyday expressions to traditions, social customs, and cultural differences.

I believe learning a language is about more than memorising vocabulary and grammar. It’s also about understanding how people actually communicate and gaining the confidence to use the language in real life.

# A comfortable and supportive learning environment

I want my lessons to be a place where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying new things.

You can learn at your own pace, and I’ll do my best to create lessons that are encouraging, practical, and enjoyable.

I generally work with female students, but I’m also happy to welcome male students who are genuinely interested in learning Korean.

To support your learning outside of class, I can also provide **personalised lesson notes, vocabulary lists, grammar summaries, and review materials**.
