About Alex
I'm Alex Peternel, a multifaceted professional with a diverse range of experiences and skills that I'm excited to share with you today.
With a Master's degree in Laboratory Medicine, I've spent years leading day-to-day operations and managing teams in medical laboratories. My responsibilities included overseeing quality control, problem-solving, and integrating new procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Beyond the medical field, I co-founded video production companies, where I managed teams, handled content creation, and led social media efforts. My background also includes extensive experience in bartending and barista roles, where I served as a shift manager and team leader, emphasizing quality control and customer satisfaction.
I'm also an adventurous spirit, running a Slovenian-themed travel YouTube channel where I handle all aspects of production—from scripting and filming to storytelling and editing. This creative outlet showcases my storytelling abilities and technical skills.
My leadership experience extends to roles as a supervisor and picker in agricultural settings, where I managed teams, resolved conflicts, and ensured smooth operations.
Overall, I bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and creative flair to every endeavor. I'm passionate about continuous learning and innovation, making me a valuable asset to any team or project.
Thank you for allowing me to share my journey with you.

In my tutoring process, I focus on personalized and engaging sessions tailored to each student's needs. I begin by assessing the student's current knowledge and learning goals to develop a targeted plan. Using a structured approach, I break down complex concepts into manageable parts, emphasizing understanding over rote memorization.
Communication is key to my approach—I maintain open lines of communication with students and parents to ensure alignment with learning objectives and address any concerns promptly. I am committed to supporting students on their academic journey, helping them develop critical thinking skills and a deep appreciation for biochemistry and the natural sciences. With dedication and patience, I empower students to achieve their academic goals and excel in their studies.
