About Colin
I have been teaching maths for around 40 years predominantly in the Aero Engineering sector. I have written books in maths and physics for modules 1 and 2 of the Civil Aviation IR Part-66 course. My success rate is fairly high (approx. 85%) against a national average of approx. 35%.

My methodology would be to explain the topic in simple terms, give examples and then set questions for the student to do in his own time. His/Her work would then be discussed at the start of the next lesson before proceeding with another topic.
