About Jordan

I am a dedicated and experienced Psychology Lecturer and Clinical Psychology Trainee based in Malaysia, with a strong passion for teaching and helping students succeed. I have several years of experience teaching psychology at the tertiary level, where I focus on making complex concepts clear, practical, and engaging for students.

I hold a Master of Clinical Psychology, a Master of Child Psychology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. My academic background, combined with my clinical training, allows me to provide students with both strong theoretical knowledge and real-world psychological insights.

Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities. I understand that every student learns differently, and I take pride in adapting my teaching style to suit each individual’s needs. My goal is not only to help students achieve good grades, but also to build their confidence, critical thinking skills, and genuine interest in psychology.

As a tutor, I am patient, supportive, and structured in my approach. I create a comfortable learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is interactive, structured, and exam-focused. I simplify complex psychology concepts into easy-to-understand explanations, using real-life examples, case studies, and past exam questions to help students apply what they learn. I also guide students on how to answer exam questions effectively, including essay writing and critical thinking skills.

I use a combination of:
• Concept explanation + discussion
• Exam practice and techniques
• Active recall and reinforcement
• Personalized guidance based on student’s level

Each lesson is typically 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and focus level.

I am a Psychology Lecturer with experience teaching undergraduate students, and I am currently a Clinical Psychology trainee. I hold:
• Master of Clinical Psychology
• Master of Child Psychology
• Bachelor of Psychology

I have experience working with students of different learning styles, including those who need more support with understanding concepts, focus, or confidence.

My lessons are suitable for:
• A-Level Psychology students
• Students aged 16–20 years old
• Students who want to improve understanding, grades, and exam performance
