My first rule in teaching/tutoring any concept: I need to know it very well myself. My second rule: be confident and patient with my student. If I see that it is hard for the student to comprehend the concept, I should explain it differently or check what prerequisite(s) is missing. Then I need to explain that prerequisite first.

My lessons are focused on compression. I explain each concept in a great detail with numerous examples until the student will grasp it.The main idea is to focus on logic and proof rather than on pure memorization. To close the gaps in math of any student that I am tutoring I'd like to assess that student first.
