About Walden
My background is a mix of Dutch Kickboxing and Muay Thai. I also was a teacher at the USA Kung Fu studio in Alameda for ten years. There I learned the art of teaching to a wide variety of ages and skill levels. I believe that encouragement and honesty are the most important things in a teacher. I have found that my students learn best when they are having fun.

About the lesson

Classes will begin with a basic warmup. light cardio, stretches. Then after that we move into the days training. I believe that training should not only be educational but fun. I approach teaching like I am having a conversation with the student. Ask me questions! The goal of these lessons is to give a beginner a good foundation of striking skills, by methodically building upon what came before.
