About Matt
I have been an educational professional for over fifteen years as a teacher, administrator, enrichment coordinator, activity moderator, soccer coach and tutor. To say I am passionate about education is an understatement. firmly believe that all students can understand any concept and solve any challenging problem. I am committed to working with your student to achieve academic success! When I am not tutoring, I love to read, hike, camp, travel, and run. I hope I may be able to provide some virtual assistance to your student and to make learning exciting and engaging.

It is my firm belief that all students can understand any concept and solve any challenging problem. I like to break down mathematical problems to basic skills in order to apply each to a complete plan for the solution. My lessons often include a review of previously learned content in order to reinforce necessary skills. I provide assistance with homework and class assignments, as well as study preparation for upcoming assessments. My lessons focus on guided and independent problem solving. I am an experienced high school and middle school mathematics and science teacher, but I have tutored students in middle school, high school, and college.
