About Benjamin
I’m Benji Morris, a professional data analyst with an M.S. in Data Analytics and Visualization and bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Biology from Yeshiva University. I have experience tutoring students from elementary school through college in mathematics, statistics, science, and general homework support. I also spent ten summers at Camp HASC, including three as an academics teacher, giving me extensive experience adapting instruction for students with different abilities and learning needs. I offer online tutoring and in-person sessions in Manhattan

About the lesson

I begin by asking each student to work through a problem and explain their thinking. This helps me identify where they are getting stuck and whether the difficulty comes from the current topic or a missing foundation. We then work through problems together, reinforce the fundamentals, and develop strategies the student can use independently. My goal is to build genuine understanding and confidence rather than simply provide answers or teach steps to memorize.
