I met Shasmeen in school, we are friends. I’m not really good at math, I was failing my Geometry class. One day I told her about my situation so she offered to help me. She’s really good at teaching, she’s very patient and kind when teaching. She uses examples and she explains them. She will explain and the same question 6 if it’s needed.
When teaching she explains each why, when and what to do. She explains why the final answers is THE final answer. Also, if there’s any word that you don’t understand she will explain you the meaning and when is commonly that words used and what to do when you see it. She explains each step when solving an equation. If you’re really bad at geometry she will do the first and second equations WHILE asking you if you know what’s the next step, if not she will show you. After solving 1 or 2 equations she will let you solve the others by yourself but while doing that she will ask what are the steps and if you forget the steps she will show them to you again. If you are shy and bad at math, trust me, you will love the way she teaches and also she’s very kind so you don’t have to feel intimidated.

I met Shasmeen when I was new to the USA, and she helped me so much. At first, the language was difficult for me, but she always explained everything clearly and patiently in a way that I could understand. She especially helped me with mathematics, making difficult topics much easier to learn. She is kind, supportive, and a great teacher who truly cares about her students.
