About Jay
I'm a math tutor based in Burnaby, BC, with 6+ years of math tutoring experience in Korea and Canada. I tailor each session to the student's needs.
I believe real learning happens when students can explain concepts in their own words. That's why I often ask questions during sessions to guide students toward understanding, rather than just giving them answers.
Regardless of grade level, I always identify and address any gaps in foundational knowledge before moving forward.
