About Yuli
I am an ambitious, goal-driven tutor with a passion for helping students succeed. With experience as a private tutor, Kumon instructor, and volunteer educator, I specialize in making math, along with other subjects, engaging and understandable. I am dedicated to creating a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel confident and motivated to achieve their best. As the captain of my ultimate frisbee and volleyball teams, I’ve developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills that I bring into my tutoring. I love learning new things and thrive on taking on challenges, which helps me stay motivated and adaptable in my teaching approach.

In my math lessons for grades 3-10, I focus on making complex concepts easier to understand using visual aids, step-by-step explanations, and real-world examples. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s learning style, helping them grasp key ideas and build confidence. Whether it’s basic arithmetic or advanced problem-solving, I ensure the lessons are interactive and engaging, with plenty of opportunities for practice and feedback. My goal is not only to improve students' grades but also to help them develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of math.
