About George
I'm George, a 21-year-old Australian recently relocated to Toronto. I hold a university degree in Property Economics and am commencing a Master of Teaching next year, specializing in secondary mathematics with the goal of becoming a middle and high school math teacher.
I'm passionate about education and working with young people, and I genuinely believe that every student has the ability to succeed in mathematics with the right support and approach. I'm patient, encouraging and adaptable I take the time to understand how each student learns best and tailor my approach accordingly rather than using a one size fits all method.
Outside of tutoring I work in aquatics as a certified lifeguard and swim instructor, so working with young people in a structured, supportive environment is very much part of who I am. I understand how to build rapport with kids of all ages and how to keep them engaged and motivated even when things feel difficult.
I'm committed to making every session worthwhile and I genuinely care about the progress of every student I work with.

Hi! I'm George, a university graduate now based in Toronto with a strong mathematics background. As an aspiring middle school mathematics teacher currently completing my teaching qualifications, I offer tutoring for students of all levels from primary school foundations right through to high school mathematics. I have a particular enthusiasm for working with younger students building their confidence in math, though I am equally comfortable supporting high school students with more advanced content.
My sessions are tailored to each student's individual needs, focusing on building genuine understanding and confidence rather than just memorizing formulas. I'm patient, encouraging and committed to helping every student reach their potential.
