About Elliott
I try to always be available even for a quick question. I know the stress of having to finish something in 3 hours and just needing a "yes" or "no" from someone can make all the difference. I also like to get on the same page with goals: I can totally explain why this math exists if you want me to - or I can tell you the shortcut that works every time that you can forget once the semester is over. Or both! Either way, I don't judge. We're out here surviving. The last thing I want to do is waste your time talking about something you don't care about. At the end of the day, I'm here to help YOU, and your needs are what are important. It matters to me to stick to them.

Hi! My name is Elliott Moody. I am a College Sophomore with a passion for helping others. I've worked as a college math tutor at my local community college for the past year and a half - I specialize in College Algebra and Statistics for STEM majors. I'm going into the field of Cognitive Science to support my passion for helping and understanding others. My strong background in psychology also helps me tailor each session to individual student needs. Prior to tutoring, I worked in rehabilitation with individuals who had gone through severe mental and physical trauma. I have a lot of compassion for others and I believe that being human is kind of beautiful.
