About MARIA LEAHFAITH

Hello! I’m a licensed teacher who is passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed in Math. I have 1 year of experience teaching arithmetic to American students online, where I supported learners in developing strong foundations in basic math skills.

I understand that every student learns differently, and Math can sometimes feel challenging or overwhelming. That’s why I always take a patient, supportive, and personalized approach—making sure each student feels comfortable, understood, and encouraged throughout the learning process.

I am organized, reliable, and committed to delivering clear and effective lessons. I focus not only on getting the correct answers, but also on helping students truly understand the concepts behind them. Seeing my students grow in confidence and improve their skills is what I enjoy most about teaching.

About the lesson

In my math lessons, I focus on helping students fully understand arithmetic concepts step by step, not just memorize answers. I begin by assessing your current level to identify your strengths and areas that need improvement. I also ask about your goals—whether it’s catching up in school, improving accuracy, or building confidence—so I can design lessons that truly match your needs and close the learning gap.

A typical lesson includes a short review, guided practice on key skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and problem-solving activities to apply what you’ve learned. I explain concepts in a clear and simple way, using examples that are easy to understand.

What sets me apart is my patient and supportive teaching style. I make sure students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My lessons are ideal for kids and beginners, especially those who need extra support or want to build a strong foundation in arithmetic.

My goal is to help you feel more confident in Math and make learning less stressful and more enjoyable.
