About Payten
I previously obtained both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in philosophy from Tulane University. However, I also took Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Differential Equations, and statistics at the undergraduate level, so I am more than qualified to provide the math instruction that students need to succeed.
When I’m not tutoring, you can find me trying new recipes and (more likely) diving into a good book!

I am very passionate about helping students reach their goals, and I strongly believe that confidence is the key to success. My mission is to show every student that they are capable of mastering high school math topics by helping students overcome their limiting beliefs about their mathematical ability. I take an individualized approach with each student, which allows me to meet every student where they are at.
