About Oscar
I am an experienced tutor with over 3 years of teaching Maths to school, college, and working professional students. My teaching approach focuses on creating a compassionate and motivating environment, where each student feels confident in their abilities. I adapt my lessons to suit the unique learning style of each student, whether they are visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic learners, ensuring they fully grasp key concepts. I believe in a strong foundation of problem-solving, helping students develop the skills they need to think critically and creatively. My teaching methodology for Maths focuses on creating a compassionate and motivating learning environment. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I work to build their confidence and interest in the subject. I adapt my lessons to each student’s unique learning style, whether they are visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic learners, to ensure that they fully understand the concepts being taught. Problem-solving is at the core of my teaching approach. I guide students step-by-step through problems, helping them develop critical thinking and analytical skills. Instead of just focusing on memorisation, I encourage students to think deeply and creatively, building their problem-solving abilities to apply in different situations. I aim to make Maths engaging and fun, breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps. I also provide plenty of practice exercises to reinforce learning and improve retention. Along with Maths, I can teach related subjects such as Physics and Chemistry, using a similar approach to make these subjects accessible and interesting. My goal is to create a positive, supportive atmosphere where students feel empowered to tackle any challenge confidently.
