Experienced Mathematics and Statistics Instructor in Kennewick enjoys helping students understand math.

Methodology

I believe in making the subject meaningful to the student. So the core is anchored on the student area of interest. The specific nuances of the mathematics are addressed through practice and feedback anchored by the application of interest.
The classes are structured where the core topic to be covered is clearly identified, the student is scaffold-ed towards achieving the objective via a series of progressively enhanced practice problems addressed with guided discovery as well as independent practice.

Background

I have been teaching college mathematics for ten years and high school and middle school mathematics for twenty years. My students have gone on to study at major universities and achieved careers in medicine, engineering, law and business. Students reviews are always positive.
