About Afnan
I am a university lecturer and researcher with an academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and analytical problem solving. I completed advanced studies in Computer Science and have experience teaching students from different academic levels, including school, college, and university learners.
My work combines teaching, research, data analysis, and practical problem solving. I have also worked on interdisciplinary projects related to computing, economics, statistics, and data science. Through my teaching experience, I have learned how to explain difficult concepts in a clear, patient, and structured way.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons according to the student’s pace, strengths, and goals. My aim is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them develop confidence, logical thinking, and long-term understanding of the subject.

My teaching approach focuses on conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and step-by-step problem solving rather than memorization. I try to create a calm and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring mathematical and statistical ideas deeply.
In my lessons, I usually begin with the core theory and intuition behind a topic, followed by worked examples, guided problem solving, and practice questions adapted to the student’s level. I also use real-world examples, logical explanations, and visual methods whenever helpful to make abstract concepts easier to understand.
I teach Mathematics, Statistics, Probability, Data Analysis, and related analytical subjects for school, college, university, and professional learners. My background in Computing Science, research, and university teaching allows me to connect mathematics with practical applications in programming, data science, economics, and problem solving.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my combination of academic research experience, university-level teaching, strong analytical background, and patient teaching style. I aim not only to help students perform well in exams, but also to help them build confidence, reasoning ability, and long-term understanding.
