About Ogundimu

Hello, my name is Ogundimu John Mayowa, and I am a dedicated Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics educator with a passion for helping students achieve academic excellence.

I hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Physics with Electronics and have several years of teaching experience across junior and senior secondary school levels. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students preparing for BECE, WAEC, NECO, JAMB, GCE, and various Mathematics competitions. My experience has taught me that every student can succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment.

As a classroom teacher, I focus on building strong foundations in Mathematics and Physics while helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I am particularly interested in preparing students for Mathematics Olympiads, entrance examinations, and other academic challenges that require more than routine classroom knowledge.

My students appreciate my patient teaching style, clear explanations, and commitment to their success. I take pride in breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps and ensuring that each student gains confidence in their abilities.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered on helping students understand concepts rather than memorize formulas. I believe that every student can excel in Mathematics and Physics when lessons are tailored to their learning style and pace.

I begin by assessing each student's strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I develop a structured learning plan that combines clear explanations, guided practice, problem-solving techniques, and regular assessments. I use real-life examples, interactive discussions, and step-by-step demonstrations to make difficult concepts easier to understand.

My lessons typically last between 60 and 120 minutes, depending on the student's level, goals, and learning needs. Each lesson includes concept review, new learning, worked examples, practice exercises, and feedback.

I hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Physics with Electronics and currently teach Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics at the secondary school level. I have experience preparing students for BECE, WAEC, NECO, JAMB, GCE, and Mathematics competitions. My teaching experience spans both junior and senior secondary school students, and I have successfully helped learners improve their confidence, problem-solving ability, and examination performance.

My lessons are suitable for:
• Primary school pupils preparing for Common Entrance examinations
• Junior Secondary School (JSS 1–3) students
• Senior Secondary School (SS 1–3) students
