About Numann
I am currently an Instructor in the Mathematics Department at Virginia Tech with several years of experience teaching mathematics both in-person and online. I also offer to tutor outside of regular business hours online, with an emphasis on tailoring to each student's needs. In particular, I'm happy to help with practice problems and test prep in general.

About the lesson

A typical lesson would involve me introducing the relevant material, accompanied by practice problems. Some of these problems I go through initially to show the student how to apply the knowledge, and then later I give the student time to attempt comparable problems on their own first, right before going through the solutions with them. This way they can see in real time how to improve their understanding of the content. At any point during the lesson the student is always welcome to ask follow-up questions for clarification.
