About Ines
My name is Ines Chami, and I am a Mathematics teacher and tutor with a background in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Electrical Networks.
I have always believed that being good at Mathematics is not about being naturally gifted. I was once a student who did not always find Mathematics easy. With time, I learned how to understand mathematical ideas in a simpler and more logical way. I started looking for different explanations, easier examples and connections between concepts until I found ways that made Mathematics much clearer to me. This experience is one of the reasons I enjoy teaching today.
I understand that every student learns differently. Some students need a visual explanation, some need simple examples, while others need to understand the logic behind a formula before it makes sense. I therefore adapt my teaching to the student rather than expecting the student to adapt to one teaching method.
I have experience supporting students from primary to secondary level, including students studying different school curricula. I focus on making Mathematics clear, accessible and less stressful, while helping students build confidence and become more independent.
My goal is not simply to help a student get the right answer, but to help them understand how and why they got there.

Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level, curriculum and goals.
I begin by identifying the student’s strengths, difficulties and learning gaps. I then build the lesson around clear explanations, worked examples and targeted exercises.

I explain concepts step by step and focus on understanding the reasoning behind each method. My goal is to help students become more confident, independent and consistent in Mathematics.
