About Will
I am a passionate Maths and Computer Science tutor with several years of tutoring experience helping students improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance. I have worked with students of different ages and abilities, developing a patient and adaptable teaching style that focuses on individual needs.
Alongside tutoring, I have completed over 150 hours of coaching through my local kayaking club, where I have gained valuable experience in communication, leadership, and mentoring. These skills have helped me become an effective teacher who can explain complex ideas clearly and support students in achieving their goals.
I have a strong interest in Mathematics, Computer Science, and problem-solving, and I enjoy helping students develop both their subject knowledge and confidence. My aim is to make learning engaging, approachable, and rewarding while helping students achieve the best results possible.

I specialise in Mathematics and Computer Science, with lessons focusing on both subject knowledge and exam technique. I believe that understanding why something works is just as important as knowing how to answer exam questions, so I aim to build strong foundations before applying knowledge to problems and past-paper practice.
Lessons are interactive and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions and develop confidence in tackling challenging topics. We can work through difficult concepts together, review classwork, complete targeted practice questions, or focus on exam preparation depending on your needs.
Having several years of tutoring experience and over 150 hours of coaching experience, I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, learning from them, and developing the skills needed to achieve their academic goals.
