About Oliver
I've been tutoring pupils for over 3 years in Mathematics, English (as an additional language and English literature), and Economics. I have helped students apply and successfully pass admissions test exams for UK independent schools. Some of my best experience came from working at Brighton College, UK teaching Mathematics and Mandarin.

As a tutor studying Chinese studies at the University of Cambridge, I have a dynamic and flexible attitude to tutoring which allows me to tailor my lessons and activities to the client. Ultimately, I want to give pupils a holistic experience by introducing them to new ideas whilst helping them apply their existing knowledge to unfamiliar questions and problems. In lessons, I aim to give my students a platform for them to offer their opinions and defend their arguments with supporting information. For me, private tutoring is just as much as about imparting knowledge and allowing the pupil to grow and take risks as it is about cultivating a good relationship between the tutor and the client.
