About Nicky
I am pretty much a nerd- I love learning about a plethora of things,and stepping out of my comfort zone, always looking to extend my knowledge. As well as that, I love being a social bug, I love connecting with students, their parents and networking amongst fellow tutors.
I always look for a way to challenge myself and through this, I have been able to find a sense of balance between learning, tutoring, socialising and living life. I hope to be able to share my knowledge and teaching methods with much more children, and form a part of their memories, so they too can learn to enjoy the power of education.

My teaching style is unique and tailored to my students' needs and age level. Every child is not the same and so will not work with the generic, traditional lesson plans. I will constantly be assessing their strengths and weaknesses, through verbal communication and mini tests, ensuring to hone in any gaps in subject matter. I am flexible and patient in a student's educational journey, offering all my support and effort beyond the lessons.
Lessons will be typically an hour long, but can be longer if a parent or student wishes so. I have tutored for two years in two different tuition centres, covering a range of subjects, especially core subjects like Maths and English at KS1/2/3. I find children are enjoyable to talk to and easy to make good, memorable relationships with. My lessons are online and 1-to-1, allowing for a much deeper connection and comfort whilst teaching.
