About Sanjeev
I graduated in Math, Operational Research & Economics from the UK and have mainly taught friends, family and of course my son who is now 18 (skipped a grade, perfect 7 in higher level IB Math) and at UBC 2nd year. I feel there are many people that are great at Math but the thing that matters is being able to relate at a frequency that resonates with the student. I often hear adults talk of math as something frightening and feel it is such a shame as many opportunities are closed to people who don't have a solid grounding. I only teach K-10 and prefer not to teach solely for the purpose of passing exams but for the student to learn to love math, to instill the belief they can succeed and to provide the student with the knowledge that they can achieve whatever they aspire to.

I believe everyone can be good at Maths and that there is no one fit solution for everyone. My aim is to make Maths fun, relatable and take away the fear. An early foundation makes the maths journey through the grades a far more pleasant one and I get great satisfaction from viewing the progress and increase in confidence in students.
