About Laura

I’m a 4th year Engineering student with 3 years’ experience giving one-to-one maths grinds. I work with Primary, Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate (Higher & Ordinary Level) students. My lessons are patient, supportive and tailored to each student, helping build confidence and strong mathematical foundations. Lessons are available in person in Ballinrobe or online, offering flexibility to suit every student

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, whether they’re aiming to improve confidence, catch up in class or achieve top exam results. I explain difficult topics in a simple, step-by-step way before working through exam questions together. Students receive personalised homework and can contact me during the week if they need help with anything we’ve covered. My goal is to make maths less stressful and help every student reach their full potential.

Perfect! I highly recommend Laura. She tutored me for my Leaving Cert maths and was absolutely brilliant. She is easy to talk to, and I always felt comfortable asking questions. Her explanations made difficult topics simple, and her focus on answering exam paper questions was exactly what I needed.
