About Muhammad
I am a Mechanical Engineer, currently working at ABB. I am also a part-time tutor so I can pursue my passion for helping others with learning and development. I have experience in preparing students for the 11+ entrance exams, who have gone on to securing places at top Birmingham grammar schools. Furthermore, as my academic background and current role are heavily reliant on good understanding of Physics and Maths skills, I am very comfortable in teaching Maths and Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc.)
As a patient and friendly 27 year old, I am able to understand the academic struggles of a student and get the best out of them without pushing too hard too fast. I have always had a way with explaining the method behind the madness that some students deem to be Maths. I can bring forward examples from working life and how Maths is not just a numbers game but how it can be used in our day-to-day life and how useful it is. Therefore, I aim to teach students without patronising or pressuring them, allowing them to grow their understanding efficiently. My focus will not only be in enabling students to do well in exams, but in actually understanding and learning for the betterment of their own future.
My permanent residency is in Birmingham which allows me to tutor throughout the year, whether it be term time or school holidays. I am able to travel within a reasonable distance, and can even tutor online, if that is preferred by the student.
