About Shawnik

I am a dedicated and patient Maths tutor with a strong analytical background and over 15 years of experience working in complex, problem-solving environments across finance, telecom, and technology. This has helped me develop a structured and logical approach to teaching Maths, focusing on clarity, accuracy, and real understanding rather than memorisation.

I specialise in building strong foundations in areas such as arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry, and logical reasoning. I believe that once the fundamentals are clear, students gain confidence quickly and are able to tackle more advanced problems with ease. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and tailored to each student’s pace, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and fully understanding each concept.

I have experience supporting students preparing for 11+ and GCSE exams, and I place strong emphasis on exam technique, time management, and approaching unfamiliar questions with confidence.
