About Ethan
I hold a 1st Class Mechanical Engineering Masters and I’m currently working as a Technology Consultant and tutoring part-time. I pride myself on clear communication and my ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. As a tutor, my aim is to encourage and motivate students to learn by recognising that when they enjoy their subject, success is inevitable.
I have enjoyed tutoring and mentoring GCSE, A-Level and University students and I endeavour to offer an excellent targeted learning experience which will addresses and provide clarity to specific learning challenges and equip students with skills sets and techniques that they need to succeed and exceed their expectations!

Hello, my names Ethan, a friendly, reliable and accommodating maths tutor with work experience at prestigious companies such as Rolls-Royce & PwC.
As a young professional, my students benefit from my current and relevant understanding of what exam boards are looking for and how students should prepare efficiently and effectively in order to achieve their desired grades.
I listen carefully and encourage tutees to ask questions so misunderstandings can be addressed while endeavouring tо remove the boundaries to mathematical concepts through simplification оf seemingly complex procedures. Together, we identify gaps in knowledge and focus on these areas to improve understanding and learning. Each student receives a tailored lesson to meet their individual, academic and personality preferences.
Currently, due to COVID-19, I offer online tutoring only. I hope to remove any concern that online tutoring is of a lower quality. Through working remotely in my fulltime job as a Technology Consultant, I have developed and become familiar with delivering training online and creating an engaging, friendly and adaptable environment.
