I have just finished my a-levels and am offering tuition for all levels up to GCSE/IGCSE.
I have tutored family and my parent's friends kids, one of whom was predicted C in maths IGCSE but with some admittedly last-minute yet intense help from me got an A*- all she needed to know was what x was !

Having been always told I was bad at maths as a kid, it took a lot of determination and hard work to get my grades. In my opinion, the reason why a lot of people struggle with maths is due to the fact that they believe they aren't talented. My approach to teaching therefore is to deconstruct the challenges that maths offers, building confidence and cementing the skill set needed to pass exams.
