About Sophie

Maths has always been my favourite subject so I’m very passionate about it. I’ve just graduated with a first class degree in mathematics, and I loved every bit of it. I’m very sociable and do my best to make maths fun. I’ve tutored previously at my sixth form and helped people get A’s in maths at both GCSE’s and A-levels.

About the lesson

I will work with you / your child to figure out which method of learning works best for you. I can review work that is currently being studied, or I can review bits of the course that you are stuck on. I will work through exam questions and can provide answers to establish confidence for tests.

Very good at being able to take different parts of the course and apply them to a question, and also good at retaining formulas. They could possibly improve on assessing the question first and finding the most efficient way to solve the problem rather than rushing into it. Overall, it was a very good lesson!
