About Hibbah

Hi! I’m a dedicated Maths tutor with experience teaching both GCSE and KS3 students. I didn’t always love Maths myself, but having a great teacher completely changed the way I saw the subject — it became something enjoyable and achievable. That experience inspired me to help others feel the same way. I want to grow students’ confidence and love for Maths by showing them that with the right guidance, it can actually be simple and rewarding. My goal is to make lessons clear, engaging, and relatable, so every student feels supported as they improve. Outside of tutoring, I love to read and watch all kinds of films — I believe having a balance between learning and creativity helps make studying much more enjoyable!

About the lesson

I use an “I do, we do, you do” approach — starting with clear demonstrations, then working through examples together, before encouraging students to solve problems independently. As their understanding grows, I gradually increase the difficulty to strengthen their confidence and mastery of each topic. Lessons typically last between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s preference and focus level. I also provide optional homework to reinforce what we cover in the session. I have been tutoring Maths for over 2 years, helping students improve their grades and confidence. I achieved all A*s in my GCSEs, including a Grade 9 in Maths, and I am currently predicted an A* in A-Level Maths. My lessons are ideal for KS3 and GCSE students who want structured, supportive guidance to reach their full potential.
