Experienced MIT trained professional chemical engineer offering STEM lessons in Edmonds, WA

Methodology

ESI made extensive use of the Northeastern University Cooperative Program to staff short term research programs. Over a span of 15 years, more than fifty Northeastern students obtained industrial research experience at ESI where they learned how to plan, execute and document research programs that could last from 3 to 6 months. I viewed myself as a mentor who would support the students in their activities, either as individual contributors or team members.

Background

I am a semi-retired chemical engineer with over fifty years of professional experience. I received my Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate degrees from MIT. I am a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I worked in industry for 12 years before before becoming an entrepreneur, first as a technical consultant, then as the owner of a research company, Entropic Systems, Inc. (ESI). ESI's activities focused on the development of innovative cleaning and decontamination processes.
