About Wilta
I come from a vibrant multicultural background, with roots in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. My parents settled in sunny Florida, where they raised me and my four siblings. Since my parents didn't speak English, my first language was French/Creole. Starting school was a challenge because we didn't know English, but the ESOL program came to our rescue. Thanks to that program, I became fluent in English while keeping my French and Creole alive. This journey ignited my passion for helping others learn English.
