Hey! My name is Adam, and I’m a passionate and professional tutor specializing in Music and Drama for students in Years 5–12 as well as adults. I hold a Bachelor of Music (Musical Theatre) and am currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) with a focus on Music and Drama education. I bring a strong blend of academic knowledge, performance experience, and teaching expertise to every lesson. With years of experience both on stage and in the classroom, I understand how to connect with students at all levels, whether they’re preparing for the HSC, building confidence for performance, or exploring their creative potential. My approach is warm, supportive, and structured, with clear learning goals and engaging activities tailored to each student’s needs. I pride myself on being reliable, professional, and approachable. As a tutor, I take a student-centred, strengths-based approach that is flexible, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s needs and goals. My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and focused on building confidence through practical application, creativity, and critical thinking. I believe students learn best when they feel safe, encouraged, and empowered to take risks, especially in expressive subjects like Music and Drama.
Lessons are typically 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on the student's age, attention span, and focus area. Sessions may include warm-ups, targeted skill development (e.g., vocal technique, acting monologues, musical analysis), and reflective discussion to support long-term growth.
I hold a Bachelor of Music (Musical Theatre) and am currently completing my Master of Teaching (Secondary), specialising in Music and Drama. I also bring industry experience as a performer and understand how to bridge academic success with real-world application.
My lessons are suitable for students from upper primary through to senior high school (Years 5–12), including those preparing for HSC Music or Drama, school performances, auditions, or simply wanting to build their skills and creativity in a supportive space.
