About Nancy
I've taught clarinet, flute, saxophone, bassoon, and oboe to students in grades 9-12. Many of these students participated in the NYS Solo Festival. Many of my students scored well at the solo festivals. Some of my students, choosing not to go to the solo festival, enjoyed doing ensemble work.

My name is Nancy. I grew up in Huntington, NY which is a large town near NYC. At the age of 14, I studied clarinet at the Juilliard Schools. Yes, that is the correct spelling of Juilliard, in case you're wondering. I got my B.A. from SUNY @ Potsdam (Crane School of Music) and my M.A. from Roberts Wesleyan College. While studying clarinet, I studied all the woodwinds, the brass, the strings, and the percussion. However, I am a woodwind specialist.
