About Jade
Hi there! I'm Jade, and I'm a music theorist with over 12 years experience teaching music. I am a classically trained violinist and hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music theory.
I currently tutor music online, in-person in Montreal, and am an instructor at McGill University, where I am a PhD candidate.

I enjoy working with students of all ages! I have helped students prepare for RCM exams, catch up on theory before starting college, and students who are currently in a university music program. I am also an experienced tutor in ear-training, musicianship, and composition.
Lessons are typically 60 mins, but longer sessions are also possible. I offer a free 15 min consultation, during which we will talk about your learning needs and goals, and I will recommend some additional learning resources.
Whether you need a single session to brush up on some concepts, or you're looking for more sustained lessons, I'm here to bring your skills in theory, musicianship, and composition to the next level!
