About Georgia
I am an experienced music teacher, composer and classically trained pianist with over 15 years of teaching experience.
My academic background includes Musicology, Recording Arts and Composition for Film & TV, and I have worked professionally in composition and music engraving alongside teaching.
I teach music theory and composition from beginner to advanced level, working with children, teenagers and adults. My aim is to make complex musical ideas clear, practical and relevant, while helping students develop confidence, creativity and a deeper understanding of music.

Lessons are structured around each student’s level, goals and musical interests, combining clear explanations with practical and creative work.
In music theory, we can explore harmony, notation, rhythm, scales, chords, analysis and musicianship. In composition, we can work on developing musical ideas, harmony, melody, form, orchestration and score writing.
I want lessons to be focused and productive, but also enjoyable and engaging. The emphasis is always on understanding how and why music works, rather than simply memorising rules.

I have been studying composition with Georgia for more than a year now. Her musical talent and knowledge is beyond dispute, but what makes her teaching great is her patience, flexibility and creative ways of explaining complicated concepts in a simple manner. I would highly recommend her!
Reliable, punctual and provides an individualised approach to learning piano. Would highly recommended!
Georgia is an outstanding teacher. She helped my son complete his grade 6. Her friendly and enthusiastic approach made my son have a positive exam experience. Now we are really looking forward to working towards the next grade.
Georgia is a great tutor, knowledgeable, patient, attentive and adjusts each class to what you want to learn. She is very patient and always ready to help you or give you the advice you need.
