About Elisabeth

Hi, my name is Elisabeth, I have over 4 years experience as a private German tutor, teaching German with focus on speaking and pronunciation as well as over 10 years experience in the sector of design.

I am from East Germany but grew up in South Germany at The Lake of Constance ( Bodensee). I have an academic background in fashion design and I lived many years in London, therefore I am fluent in English and I speak a bit French too.
I enjoy teaching since and I fell it's a mission to pass on my knowledge. I am offering courses for adults focused on speaking, conversations, pronunciation, listening and reading German. Whether you are a beginner or advanced level, I'll tailor the course to your requirements and I also help you to build up confidence and overcome barriers.

About the lesson

How can you learn a language best?

Simply by talking. Therefore we will speak mainly German throughout the lesson in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The course will be tailored to your needs and learning level. Don’t worry if your pronunciation and grammar aren’t always perfect. I’ll be helping and correcting you. Every student is unique and has their own needs and learning styles. Therefore I adapt my lessons to suit your specific goals. Whether you want to expand or build your vocabulary, improve your conversational skills and want to learn about German phrases and sayings, if you need help with translations, job applications and essays, or just simply want to talk to a native German speaker and improve your fluency and intonation, I'll help you to achieve your goals.
