About Carla

I am a psychology student originally from Spain, and I grew up in a bilingual household, becoming fluent in three languages by the age of 4. Being trilingual not only shaped my identity but also inspired me to share my language and culture with others. My journey as a language tutor began at age 10, when I started designing booklets to help my classmates excel in their English language classes. Since then, teaching has been a constant passion in my life. I tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs of my students, focusing on their unique challenges to help them become confident Spanish speakers. Learning Spanish has enriched my life in countless ways—it has opened doors to amazing job opportunities, deepened my understanding of Romance languages (I can read texts in three languages I don’t even speak!), made travelling easier and more enjoyable, and fostered incredible friendships with people from all over the world.

About the lesson

I am trilingual and have been tutoring members of my community for years, helping them excel in class tests and official exams. My lessons are tailored for anyone eager to learn this beautiful language—whether for school, university, or personal enrichment. Each lesson is typically an hour long and highly interactive. I provide handmade booklets and engaging PowerPoint presentations, focusing on grammar and vocabulary to help students truly understand the language, rather than simply translating words in their heads. If you're preparing for a test, we can dive into its contents together to ensure you achieve the best possible grade!
